Heliconia Plant
Also known as Heliconia Lobster Claw or Parrot Flower, Heliconia Plants are tropical houseplants having beautiful flowers and bracts of astonishing forms and colors. Leaves are glossy green, oval and paddle-shaped. Heliconia lobster claw may be found in red, orange or yellow, usually tipped with a bright gold splash. Many heliconia species grow very large, with some topping out at 15ft. in the right growing conditions. Heliconia plants need regular sunlight and adequate watering to make the soil moist but not soggy.
