These tropical beauties are known as epiphytic plants and are attached to trees with roots that never
reach the soil. Guzmania houseplants are not very fussy, which adds to its popularity. These require low
light and should be kept out of direct sunlight. The bracts of these plants can be red, yellow, orange or
deep purple depending on the various species. Leaves are thin and dark green. Guzmania flowers bloom at the
end of summers and winters and go to the height of 12-16 inches.
