Bromeliads belong to the family of Bromeliaceae and are native to the warmer areas of north and South America. Bromeliad needs a good amount of indirect or shaded sunlight which can affect its growth rate, color and leaf size. Easy to grow and low maintenance is the best quality of these plants. These plants are commonly decorated in plants, retail establishments, hotels, and even homes. Only thing to keep in mind with these plants is to make sure the soil is moist and not over watered or soggy.
